“Casino style” Salsa dancing — Chinese man with Cuban woman
I can’t even remember where I first saw this clip, but it’s from a Cuban television show called “Para Bailar Casino.” This particular style of Salsa dancing had usually been unique to Cuba and Miami, but is starting to spread slowly to wherever Salsa dancing happens around the world. So, it’s still fairly rare to see a Chinese guy (or any non-Cuban) who is this skilled at casino style Salsa. He has plenty of moves but, more importantly, he captures the fun spirit of the dance. The crowd obviously responds well, as you see them stand up and cheer!
In the video clip, there is a caption saying the name of the Chinese man is “You Fei Huo,” but apparently his real name is Yaofei Huo. For us English speakers, he goes by “David” Huo.

I wish I knew the name of the female dancer but, unfortunately, I don’t.

This guy grew up in …
This guy grew up in Beijing, China. He went to cuba to learn salsa in 2003, open a dance studio in Beijng since then.

Now this is salsa dancing! Look at how much fun they are having. Cuban style is the best !!!! Well, at least I think so. I could care less what anyone else says. I’m entitled to my own opinion.

For those who feel offended by this comment don’t take personally, every country has their ways of dancing salsa, and I was born and lived in Cuba and this is the Cuban style. I did not say people from other nationalities couldn’t dance, but every country has their ways. And this is a Cuban show

there are different styles of danging salsa. and you will always found similituds between how to dance different things such Merengue, salsa, Mambo…. salsa came from the mix of many rythms as guaguanco and son….

what is ballroom …
what is ballroom salsa? my girlfriend, who’s from peru, is dope at salsa but taught me a style that’s not the typical back and forth movement but more a side to side movement like the basic steps in merengue. I’m pretty good at merengue and just learned it by going to a bunch of latino dance parties but salsa seems a little difficult for me :S
