What kind of dance should i go for?
hi i like the look of really fast pace dances. i like the looks of belly dancing, salsa, tango and latin dances but i dont know which one to go for. im 14 so my parents would have to pay for the lessons but i feel scared of going and asking them. But how could i convince them and what dance should i go for. im 5ft7in and skinny if that makes any difference. its just im seroiusly dying for lesson and ive had it for roughly a year! help!
I like the Latin dances a lot. If your parents don’t want to pay for it you could always buy the dvds and learn at home. I have one and now I know how to do the Tango, Cha-Cha, Samba, Paso Doble and Jive. If you like the Latin dancing you should watch the movie "Dance with Me". It is awesome! It might influence which class you choose to take!!

Ok so this isn’t quite answering your question but I think it should help!
It may be scary but talk to your parents about it and see what they say, explain to them how much you want to dance. Talk them through what sort of dance you’re interested in and see what sorts of things they would like you to do. You can also find out what sort of classes take place in your area. If you let your parents have a bit of a say in what you do and talk through it with them, they’ll feel more included and possibly happier to let you go to classes.
Hope that was helpful!

Go for salsa. I love it. maybe make a deal with them? tell them you’ll practise heaps. Take a trial class before yuo decide on the style.

tango 100% , you have to look at some videos. It is elegant, and you will be able to dance although you get 80 years old.
