No, be cool and tell her to bring her dance partner and you will guide them in the dance steps.Don't tell you friend. By answering the mom firmly she should het the hint.If she does not, just be honest and say youre uncomfortable with it.

i think you should go. maybe she just wants to try something new with a person who alread yhas some experience in it. don’t think too much about it.
but, if she tries to hit on you or something, you should politely make your intentions and feelings clear to her. i’m sure if she’s a mature person, she’ll behave decently.

if it makes you uncomfortable and you feel like your friendship is jeopardized, tell her that. She may just be looking for an innocent dance partner just to have fun, but if you think it's weird, tell her.

I think that is an awkward situation just waiting to happen. Just tell her you usually go out to latin clubs with your own group of friends and let her know which club if she wants to drop in for a dance with you or your friends. I would tell your best friend but in a casual way..... btw, your Mom is really interested in salsa dancing and mentioned we could go dancing together, but I told her (what you told her). Just don't make it embarrassing for either of you when you tell him. Or just be honest and tell her it would make you feel awkward and you like dancing with her but only in a group sitation. Insist her son comes with the two of you if all else fails, keeping it secret would only lead to a convulted mess.

since you have been going to latin clubs with your friends it would make sense that she asked you to come to salsa and thinking you would be interested. its possible she asked her daughter and she said she didn’t want to. and it is also possible that she asked some of her friends but they weren’t into salsa dancing. i think you should go and have fun

I would say go and have fun… it is a little bit different with salsa dancing, i don’t salsa dance my self but i watch it a lot. there isn’t realy anything sexual about it, when i see people salsa dancing they are constantly swithching partners and never realy come close to eachother they are there to have fun and dance not to get intamante with people.

it would be alot different if she wanted to go to a night club with you where the dancing consist of humping eachothere to death(which is not dancing at all!!) I would be worried.
