Well, say this three times fast! “Double-handed, hand holds”. That should be a salsa tongue twister. Anyways, here is another episode of addicted2salsa.com podcast! Today we go over a couple of slick ways of getting out of two-handed holds in combos.
You know, sometimes you end-up with holding the follower’s both hands (crossed position) and maybe don’t know how to be slick about getting back to normal for the next move? Well, we summarize a couple of ways of doing it, so you can just pick one whenever you end up in that position!

This salsa dance move is composed of doing a simple hand juggle (which looks like you are doing uppercuts when boxing) in front of the follow, then quickly leading a ladies’ left turn into a basic reverse slingshot. Take your time with the move at first so you don’t injure your partner! Enjoy! For more salsa dance instructional videos, check out http://addicted2salsa.com

I’ve always wanted to dance, but my parents didn’t let me for religious reasons that I had been forced to go along with. But now I am a year over being an adult and I want to learn how to dance and maybe even do it professionally or make a career out of it, if at all possible.I love Latin dancing, especially salsa, so that’s the path I’m leaning towards. I have no idea how things go in the dance industry, so if you do, please, tell me if this ‘dream’ of mine is actually attainable or if I should just consider making dance a hobby.
Thanks in advance for your help! : )
It’s never too late =) Some people start dancing in their 30’s and can do it professionally if they are passionate about it.
If it’s your dream, then by all means, pursue it – otherwise you may always wonder what could have been
Good luck!

Also, how popular is it compared to the Tango and Salsa dances?
Thank you!!!
They are pretty popular and more so in certain cities. I live in NYC and know of many Flamenco, Tango, and Salsa dancers and dance schools.
